A two-day screening of three Canadian films: Quickening, Peace by Chocolate, and Run Woman Run.
Representatives from each film will also attend for discussion and Q&A. Writer and director of Quickening, Haya Waseem, will attend virtually on Friday night for a discussion and Q&A. Abdul Malik, the co-writer of Peace by Chocolate, will participate on a panel with one of the producers of Run Woman Run, PJ Thornton, and actor, Asivak Koostachin, who plays Tom Longboat in the film.
