Live Bait Theatre will be having open auditions for a community play celebrating the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Enterprise Foundry and other foundries in Sackville. Everyone who is cast will receive a small honorarium, and the play will be performed in mid-November.

About the play: This play tells a little about some of the people whose lives were connected to one (or more) of Sackville’s foundries. All the people depicted in the play with the exception of one are/were real. The play was written in 2022 as part of the anniversary celebration for two of Sackville’s foundries (170th anniversary of Fawcett’s Foundry and 150th anniversary of Enterprise Foundry). The play has three acts, one for each of Sackville’s three foundries. The vignettes about the people unfold in chronological order. In the final scene, eight people who worked in the foundries share some of their stories about life at the foundries.
