MtA Music: Elmer Iseler Singers

March 11, 2023

The Elmer Iseler Singers, conductor Lydia Adams, and pianist Shawn Grenke return to Mount Allison to present moving choral works by composers including Latvian Ēriks Ešenvalds, Ukrainian Mykola Skoryk, and Ismaili Muslim/Canadian Hussein Janmohamed. Also featured will be Canadian Eleanor Daley’s grandmother moon, written on the stunning poem by Mary Louise Martin, a member of Millbrook First Nation (NS), celebrating connections, the earth, life, joy, and peace in the world.

Single tickets may be purchased at the door: $15 adults; $10 seniors and students; $30 family.
All Music Department concerts are free for current Mount Allison students with a valid ID card.

This concert has been made possible by support from the J.E.A. Crake Foundation’s Humanities Projects Fund.
The Elmer Iseler Singers wish to thank the Canada Council for the Arts for its support towards their Atlantic Canada Tour, March 10-19, 2023.

A free choral workshop will take place at 3pm on the same day – all are invited to attend.
