SUMMARY:Holiday Mixer Networking Event for Small Business\, Not for Profits\, and Entrepreneurs
DESCRIPTION:Holiday Mixer Networking Event for Small Business\, Not for Profits\, and Entrepreneurs \nSeveral local groups that support businesses and non-profits are pleased to be working together to present a holiday networking event. Collaborators for the evening include Startup Sackville\, CBDC Westmorland-Albert\, the Sackville Commons\, the Ron Joyce Centre for Business at Mount Allison\, Futurpreneur\, Renaissance Sackville\, and the Town of Sackville. The evening will be festive and relaxing to show local businesses that their hard work and dedication are appreciated by the community.\nThe evening will also include opportunities for cross-pollination. There are many new businesses in town run by young people or new entrepreneurs\, and they often don’t get to meet the more established business owners. Likewise\, non-profits and for-profit businesses don’t always get the chance to network.\nThe evening will take place Tuesday\, December 5 at Cranewood on Main from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. People are welcome to attend the whole evening or to just drop in during those times. There will be delicious finger food\, door prizes and a cash bar. Organizers have decided not to charge people for attending but instead ask people to bring a non-perishable food item for the Sackville Food Bank. For more information please contact Ron at visitor@sackville.thedev.ca or 364-4938.

SUMMARY:Holiday Networking Event for Business and Non-Profits
DESCRIPTION:The Town of Sackville is pleased to be partnering with several local groups that support businesses for a holiday networking event for local businesses and non-profits. Collaborators for the evening include the Business Development Bank of Canada\, CBDC Westmorland-Albert\, the Cooperative Enterprise Council\, Greater Sackville Chamber of Commerce\, the exit 506 group\, Mainstreet Redevelopment\, Open Sky Cooperative\, Renaissance Sackville\, the Sackville Public Library\, the Sackville Commons\, and the Women in Business Without Borders group. The evening will be festive and relaxing to show local businesses that their hard work and dedication is appreciated by the community.\n \nThe networking will also include opportunities for cross-pollination. There are many new businesses in town run by young people or new entrepreneurs\, and they often don’t get to meet the more established business owners. Likewise\, non-profits and for-profit businesses don’t always get the chance to network.\n \nThe evening will take place Tuesday\, December 6 at Cranewood on Main at 6:30 pm. There will be delicious finger food\, entertainment\, door prizes and a cash bar. Organizers have decided not to charge people for attending but instead to bring a special donation for the Sackville Christmas Cheer Program. Donations could include warm winter items\, toys etc. All local businesses and non-profits are welcome. For more information or to RSVP contact Ron at visitor@sackville.thedev.ca or 364-4938.
