“The Romanian Cleaning Lady” is the first in the series of Bright and Breasy Mysteries. Lizzy Bright begins her second career as a private investigator specializing in finding missing persons. Her first case takes her into the murky world of prostitution and human smuggling. Lizzy is in over her head until retired Detective Inspector William Breasy comes on the scene. But Breasy has his own mysteries including the fact that he was friends with Lizzy’s father, who vanished when she was a child. The dark shadows of her past and the nefarious characters she encounters in the present, pull Lizzy into a dangerous web of lies and secrets. This cozy mystery is set in the historic and scenic city of Canterbury, England.
