The Tantramar Heritage Trust invites you to the kickoff of the 2016 Under the Sky Festival! We will be presenting Monsieur Lazhar, a a critically acclaimed Canadian film, depicting the experiences of a recent Canadian immigrant as he finds work as a teacher. The film is at once charming, emotional, and humourous, and makes for fantastic cinema.

The movie will be followed by a talk hosted by Dodie Perkin of the Sackville Refugee Response Coalition. Popcorn and other refreshments will be served. Admission is by donation.

Weather permitting, we will show the movie outdoors; otherwise, it will be presented inside the Carriage Factory’s Discovery Loft.
