Woodwind quintet Ventus Machina presents their summer program at the Painted Pony Bar and Grill. Classical…with a twist. Sparkling melodies, sweet saxophone, and new cover arrangements of songs by Leonard Cohen and Gordon Lightfoot – a Canadian folk celebration! Ventus Machina with Andrew George, clarinet. Repertoire includes Mladi (Youth) by Leoš Janáček, Scaramouche by Darius Milhaud, Celtic Suite by Andrew Creeggan, Bird on a Wire by Leonard Cohen, and ‘Our Roots’ medley by James Kalyn.
